Which is where implant retained dentures come in.

How do implant retained dentures work?

Designed to replace up to a whole arch of teeth at once, implant retained dentures fulfil the same function as traditional braces, but instead of being held in place via suction or dental adhesives, they are held in place with implants.

This makes for a much more comfortable, stable, and secure experience for the patient, as well as for a much more natural-looking finish. In fact, implants are so natural looking, your friends and family won’t even know they’re not your natural teeth.

What is the treatment process like?

First, we’ll make sure you’re a suitable candidate for this treatment before taking a CBCT scan to help us plan the treatment journey. When you’re being fitted for the implants, you’ll be placed under anaesthetic, so you don’t feel a thing and we’ll place 4 or more implants in the jaw. We’ll then fit an abutment on the implants onto which your dentures will be attached, holding them securely in place.
